Elizabeth Garouste

Elizabeth Garouste was born in Paris in 1949. After her interior design studies at the Camondo School in Paris, Elisabeth Garouste designed theater sets for Jean-Michel Ribes, before turning to design In the late seventies, she met Mattia Bonetti, and by 1980 the two decided collaborate together on furniture collections. They duo (Garouste and Bonetti) quickly became some of the most sought out designers and won “Designer of The Year in 1991”. Their innovative style and whimsical designs have been shown in numerous museums including: the Victoria & Albert Museum, Centre Georges Pompidou, Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Bordeaux and many others. On February 5th 2015 Elizabeth Garouste had her first solo exhibition in the United States at Ralph Pucci. Elizabeth joined Ralph Pucci in 2014.
